I was pleased to be invited to join the board for Prototype PGH, a local makerspace dedicated to building gender and racial equity. I’ve been running the Node PGH group (now Code and Coffee) out of there for a few months now and am excited to get more involved in running workshops and being a part of the organization as a whole. Everyone I’ve met there has left a good impression on me and the space really distinguishes itself from other makerspaces by focusing on being more inclusive of diversity and people of all skill levels.
